Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) has earned Participant status from the 2022 Target: Type 2 Diabetes Recognition Program in recognition of its commitment to improving its quality of diabetes care through increased awareness, detection, and management of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular symptoms, and risk factors.

To be recognized, ARMC committed to quality improvement for its patient care related to type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors. ARMC registered with the Target: Type 2 Diabetes program and provided data pertaining to its patient population, clinical protocol and processes, and outcomes as they relate to type 2 diabetes.

ARMC is dedicated to supporting its patient population’s total health and wellbeing, and the ARMC Comprehensive Stroke Center has aligned with Target: Type 2 Diabetes in the mission to reduce the risk of stroke in type 2 diabetes patients. This award-winning stroke center provides a high standard of stroke care that meets nationally accepted and evidence-based standards. In addition to stabilizing and treating acute stroke patients, ARMC provides support services for stroke survivors and their caregivers as well as preventive care.
