Andrew's CornerChief Executive Officer Andrew Goldfrach, FACHEAnchored at this Colton, California location for more than twenty-five years, Arrowhead Regional Medical Center has weathered the vicissitudes of time throughout its history. This moment is no different. This year's passage and signing of House Resolution (H.R.) 1, also known as the “Big Beautiful Bill,” included approximately $1 trillion in federal spending cuts, with a significant portion targeting health care programs, most notably Medicaid (Medi-Cal in California). As background, ARMC, as the safety-net hospital for San Bernardino County, serves vulnerable populations within San Bernardino County and more than 70 percent of our patients are enrolled in Medi-Cal or a managed Medi-Cal insurance plan. That being said, ARMC has faced these types of obstacles in the past and has always risen to the challenge and triumphed over adversity. |
