Andrew Wong, MD

About Dr. Wong

Andrew Wong, M.D. is a fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery. He joined Arrowhead Orthopaedics in August 2009. Dr. Wong completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. It was at Allegheny where Dr. Wong honed his expertise in surgery from the shoulder to fingertip, using diverse techniques of surgery including arthroscopy, joint replacement, and microsurgery. He completed his residency program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he also served as chief resident.

Dr. Wong is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is currently a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Along with many of his partners at Arrowhead Orthopaedics, Dr. Wong is an assistant clinical professor associated with Loma Linda University Medical Center. In this involvement at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, he pursues his passion for teaching, training LLUMC Orthopaedic Residents and medical students from various institutions.

Dr. Wong was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan and returned to pursue his bachelor’s degree, Medical degree, and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Michigan.
