Cesar Aguiluz, DO

About Dr. Aguiluz

Introducing Cesar Aguiluz, D.O., M.P.H., who received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2010. While there, Dr. Aguiluz also earned his Master’s in Public Health and was a Pre-Doctoral Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Fellow. Dr. Aguiluz completed his medical residency here at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in both the Trauma Center and Burn Center in 2015, after which he completed a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2018. Dr. Aguiluz returned to ARMC as a plastic surgeon in 2019 and has since been an integral part of the team. He also currently works as a plastic surgeon in Rancho Cucamonga.

Before coming to ARMC, Dr. Aguiluz simultaneously earned a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York in 2005. During his time at Cornell, he volunteered as a Reach Volunteer and Medical Assistant, and worked as a Biochemistry Teaching Assistant. Volunteering holds a significant place in Dr. Aguiluz’s career, as he also served as a Medical Spanish Teaching Assistant at NSU, was the vice-president of the Hispanic Osteopathic Medical Student Association in Fort Lauderdale, became a Family Pal at a spina bifida camp, was a COM-PAIS Program Volunteer with Sigma Sigma Phi in Fort Lauderdale, and assisted as a volunteer physician at an ARMC annual cancer screening event during his residency.

Dr. Aguiluz holds a medical license in both California and Texas and is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. He is also a member of many honorary and professional societies, such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American College of Osteopathic Surgery (ACOS), American College of Surgery (ACS), Texas Medical Association and Sigma Sigma Phi (Honorary Society).
