James Matiko, MD

About Dr. Matiko

Dr. Matiko received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans. He then went on to complete two Hand Surgery Fellowships: one at Loma Linda University and one at the University of Louisville. He also completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Van Nuys. As the Director of Orthopaedic Upper Extremity Surgery at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University Medical Center, he enjoys working closely with medical students and residents.

He believes that patient education is essential and he has given many lectures to community groups regarding orthopaedic problems.

Volunteerism and mission work is extremely important to Dr. Matiko. He has lived in the Inland Empire for 30 years.
