Dr. Massimo Arcerito is a surgical oncologist and transplant surgeon.

Board-certified and fellowship-trained, Dr. Arcerito specializes in hepatobiliary, pancreatic, esophageal, and colon surgery. He is also trained in and has performed a significant number of kidney and other abdominal organ transplants. His surgical oncology expertise encompasses the full spectrum of gastrointestinal malignancies, breast cancer, melanoma, and sarcoma.

After serving as an attending thoracic surgeon in Italy, Dr. Arcerito relocated to the United States, where he completed comprehensive surgical retraining followed by three advanced fellowships: minimally invasive surgery, advanced surgical oncology (including hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery), and abdominal organ transplantation. His multifaceted training is complemented by advanced robotic surgical techniques.

Before coming to ARMC, Dr. Arcerito served Riverside and San Bernardino counties, performing general surgery cases, advanced surgical oncology procedures, and multi-organ procurement surgeries while at Riverside Medical Clinic, Riverside Community Hospital, Corona Regional Medical Center, University of California, Riverside, and Mission Surgical Clinic. He also spent several months in New York State as part of his practice before coming to ARMC.

His dedication to making advanced surgical care – including robotic-assisted procedures and complex oncologic resections – accessible to all members of the community represents the cornerstone of his professional mission and aligns seamlessly with ARMC’s commitment to serving our region's most vulnerable populations.
