Narges Moaddel, MD

About Dr. Moaddel

Narges Moaddel, M.D., graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She completed medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC) and then began her Family Medicine residency training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC), where she successfully completed her residency. Following graduation, she joined ARMC as faculty and has been serving there since 2020.

Her clinical interests include functional medicine, in which she continues to pursue additional training, and lifestyle optimization to promote long-term wellness and health. She is especially passionate about helping patients eliminate processed foods, explore approaches such as intermittent fasting when appropriate, reconnect with nature, and incorporate more movement into their daily lives. Dr. Moaddel strongly believes in each patient’s dignity and autonomy and does not embrace a hierarchical view of the physician–patient relationship; instead, she sees herself as a coach and partner, helping patients make informed decisions that are best for their health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Moaddel finds joy in nurturing her faith, spending time with her family and Muslim community, and reflecting on the beauty of the natural world. She deeply cherishes her roles as a wife and mother, which continually inspire and ground her work as a physician.
