Resident Well-Being

ARMC’s medical residency programs are committed to ensuring resident physicians take care of themselves both physically and mentally while receiving a world-class educational experience. ARMC provides access to well-being resources, both at the program and institutional levels. The GME office hosts well-being activities throughout the year, including social activities.

ARMC was selected to participate in the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Center’s (AIAMC) National Initiative VI: Stimulating A Culture of Well-Being. As a participant of the initiative, ARMC completed a two-year well-being project designed to improve well-being of our clinical care team.

Research & Quality Improvement

As an Academic Medical Center, our residents are actively involved in research and quality improvement activities at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Every year, ARMC hosts an Annual Research Day, at which residents present research posters and give an oral presentation on their research and improvement projects.

Additionally, ARMC is participating in a quality improvement project as a returning participant in the Alliance of Independent Academic Medical Center’s (AIAMC) National Initiative VII: Teaming for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice.
