ARMC Foundation Raises Funds in Support of Mobile Medical Services

The Eighth Annual Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Foundation Gala recognized ARMC’s medical staff for their achievements in 2021 and 2022 and raised funds for the hospital’s 2023 initiatives.

On October 6, the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Foundation hosted its Eighth Annual Gala in Ontario, California. The Gala honored ARMC’s employees and raised funds to support and expand the hospital’s services and community initiatives.

The ARMC Foundation is a recognized 501(c)(3) independent public charity that raises funds and contributions to support ARMC’s mission in serving the San Bernardino County community. Through events such as the Annual Gala and the generous contributions of donors, ARMC can expand the margin of care delivered to its patients and develop further initiatives to support underserved populations.

ARMC’s Hospital Director William L. Gilbert introduced the event by thanking ARMC’s workforce for their tireless work. “It truly takes the persistence that each of you have to come in every day and do the good work that we do,” said Gilbert. “Persistence to provide the best care despite the challenges that we face. Persistence to fulfill our mission that we've been talking about here, being the heart of healthcare in San Bernardino. “

The primary fundraising objective of the evening was supporting ARMC’s Mobile Medical Program. The hospital currently has three mobile clinics, two Breathmobiles and one Mobile Medical Clinic, which travel throughout the San Bernardino County to support underserved and remote areas of the community. These services are available to residents without insurance coverage, and ARMC works to provide as many resources as possible to help patients can get health care at little to no cost.

ARMC aims to add a fourth Mobile Medical Clinic in 2023 to further expand access to comprehensive medical and preventative care in underserved, rural areas of the County.
