ARMC's Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Goldfrach, FACHE, is Honored as a 2026 Outstanding Citizen

COLTON, Calif. — Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) proudly announces that its Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Goldfrach, FACHE, was recently honored with the 2026 Outstanding Citizen Award by the San Bernardino County Medical Society. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals whose leadership, service, and commitment have made a lasting impact on the communities they serve.

Goldfrach was recognized during the San Bernardino County Medical Society’s 134th Installation of Officers and Outstanding Awards ceremony for his exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing high-quality healthcare throughout San Bernardino County.

The Outstanding Citizen Award is one of the San Bernardino County Medical Society’s highest honors, recognizing leaders who have demonstrated exceptional service and significant contributions to advancing healthcare throughout the region.

As CEO of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Goldfrach provides strategic and operational leadership for the county’s 456-bed, university-affiliated teaching hospital and ambulatory care network. Under his leadership, ARMC continues to expand access to exceptional, patient-centered care while serving as the region’s public safety net hospital.

Throughout his career, Goldfrach has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to public service. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Interim Director of the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, helping lead the county’s response during one of the most challenging public health crises in recent history.

In addition to his leadership at ARMC, Goldfrach serves on the boards of several prominent healthcare organizations, including the California Association of Public Hospitals, the Hospital Association of Southern California, and the California University of Science and Medicine. He also serves as a Regent for the California-Southern Region of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is an adjunct professor in Concordia University Irvine’s Master of Health Administration program.

Goldfrach earned his master’s degree in healthcare administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and his bachelor’s degree in health policy from Ithaca College. He is board-certified in healthcare management and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
