What Happens Now?

After a cancer diagnosis, you and your care provider need to determine how far the disease has progressed and define your goals for treatment. The goal of cancer treatment is to remove the tumor and all cancer cells from the body. The typical cancer treatment plan includes a combination of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery.

Cancer treatments have some debilitating side effects, including nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, and more. Our comprehensive program will include management for the symptoms of both cancer and its treatments. In some cases, patients choose not to receive treatment and want their care focused on symptom management. Our experienced cancer care professionals will work closely with you and your family to build a personalized plan that fits your specific preferences.
