Cancer Patient Family Orientation Class

San Bernardino County Cancer Education

Whether it happened to you or your loved one, you’re likely feeling overwhelmed after receiving a cancer diagnosis. Lacking sufficient information to make decisions, not knowing where to get help, or who to lean on for support are common challenges following a cancer diagnosis. The orientation class provides patients with the information, resources, and support needed to overcome their disease.

In this class, you will learn more about Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, our providers, staff, and facilities. Navigating cancer care is much easier when you’re empowered with education, information, and resources.

In orientation, you and your family will learn:

  • How to talk to your cancer care providers and support staff
  • Various cancer services within our hospital
  • Where you can find community cancer support programs
  • Resources to help with the mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial burdens of cancer

Meets the third Wednesday of each month.
2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Aspen Conference Room, MOB 2nd Floor
